Regardless of the regional conflicts and challenges they face, US forces have continued to use a multifaceted approach to delivering aid to civilians in Gaza, in keeping with historical US efforts to provide aid to people throughout the world.
The US Air Force is continuing to airdrop life-saving humanitarian assistance into northern Gaza, where 70% of people are experiencing hunger.
In a joint operation on April 21, four US Air Force C-130 aircraft dropped 50,688 Meals Ready to Eat (MREs), US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.
To date the United States has dropped nearly 1,001 tons of humanitarian assistance into northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the United States has continued to press the Israeli government to allow more aid to flow though all available land crossings.
The United States is pursuing "every channel possible to get assistance into Gaza," a senior US official said March 7.
"We will do it by air, by sea, by land -- however we can get the maximum amount in possible."
The United States has distributed almost $4 trillion in foreign aid to communities in need throughout the world since World War II, according to the Council on Foreign Relations.
US assistance has reached people in more than 150 countries and territories, even volatile regions, including Ukraine, Central and East Africa and South and Central Asia.

ReplyGood.
ReplyThat's too much; we're tired.
ReplyI always hear about aid. I have got registered since the start of the war. I've been looking, but found nothing. I've lost my home and work, and became displaced in Gaza, to Nusayrat, to Khan Yunis, and now I'm in Rafah. Nobody has given us assistance or anything. They haven't even provided a place or a tent.
ReplyThank you! However, it's better to bring your aid through land crossing by pressuring Netanyahu and breaking his head!
ReplyI have nothing to do with politics; I just want a living. My kids and I just want to live.
