Qatar is playing a pivotal role in the Gaza Strip peace process, aligning its policies with the peaceful approach of the United States.
Beyond political support, Qatar also provides funds and aid to expedite relief operations for Palestinian civilians.
On October 22, Qatar Charity announced the allocation of an additional $16 million for the expansion of humanitarian interventions in the Gaza Strip.
This brings the organization's total contributions to supporting the devastated Strip to $142 million since the outbreak of the war.

The announcement took place at a high-level event in Cairo organized by Qatar and Egypt to highlight their joint support for the Palestinian people.
Qatar is coordinating closely with the relevant authorities in Egypt, United Nations agencies, and partner organizations to expedite logistics, monitor distribution, and ensure effective delivery of aid.
The support is intended to expand emergency assistance operations across Gaza, covering essential sectors like food, water, healthcare, and shelter for civilians affected by the ongoing conflict.
Stability of civilians
"The intensified humanitarian operations and aid provided by Qatar to Gaza residents are consistent with the state's general policy of achieving a ceasefire and supporting the current truce," Qatari international affairs researcher Mahmoud Abdul Moneim told Citadel.
"The funds provided as aid are an essential part of the peace process itself," he added.
Abdul Moneim noted that civilian stability accelerates the peace process "by creating security and reassurance, and by alleviating the tension caused by the loss of life necessities, including shelter, job opportunities, and basic supplies."
Coordination with Egypt
Military expert and retired Qatari army officer Riyad al-Ali told Citadel that sending aid to the Gaza Strip requires considerable effort and logistical coordination.
"To ensure the flow of Qatari aid, an air bridge has been established with Egypt to facilitate the transport of assistance by both air and sea," he said.
Qatar is coordinating with Egyptian authorities "to facilitate logistical procedures and ensure the expedited delivery of goods from Egyptian territory through the border crossings," al-Ali noted.
After crossing, he added, "the trucks enter the Gaza Strip and begin the aid distribution process."
Relief operations represent a "serious commitment to the necessity of establishing peace," he said.
"They demonstrate that securing the basic needs of civilians is viewed as a main pillar in consolidating calm," he added.
